Tumeric recipe for joint heath

Belinda Allen, at her recent talk, shared this recipe which she uses for helping with inflamation and joint health.

64gm Turmeric powder ( double strength organic is recommended)

70gm organic coconut oil 

2 tsp ground cinnamon 

2 tsp freshly ground black pepper 

2” chunk of finely grated ginger root 

Water to make paste

In a saucepan add turmeric and enough water to make a paste, warm gently and when cooled slightly add coconut oil, mix until it is melted into paste. Then add remaining ingredients, mixing until thoroughly blended. At this point divide the mixture into 4 equal amounts and put into little containers freezing 3 of the portions as the mixture only lasts for 2 weeks, this recipe makes approximately 4 weeks worth. Each morning have 1 heaped tsp with half a shot of cider vinegar, 1 tsp honey and 250ml of water, warmed for 1 minute in microwave, or you could use boiled water, stir and drink, its actually quite pleasant, especially with the knowledge that its doing you good!
